Carol Pereira Park Project
HARD and TPL are planning the first phase of improvements to the future park at D & Clay St, a part of the Upper B Street Neighborhood and within walking distance of Hayward High and Faith Ringgold Elementary. Sulphur Creek runs through this future park site, which is home to Eucalyptus and native Oak trees. Native plants will be preserved and the space will be enhanced with amenities for the public to enjoy. A segment of the Foothill Trail will be completed as part of this project, allowing visitors to walk and cycle directly into and through the park.
